“Intuitively I have always felt that when we come home to

ourselves, we are able to connect and know others and our environment”

Elizabeth Harty

My journey began with my own healing.  As a practicing Fine Artist and illustrator, I was always drawn to the unconventional, trying new techniques, new tools and materials.  Also I was always interested in the alternative healing field.  After earning  a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus in Fine Art I worked in a natural food store and eventually with two friends opened a natural food Cafe in the 1970’s. At that time we were all experimenting with diet and lifestyle, trying to find a healthy balance. Eventually I discovered Acupuncture through my artist friends and decided to try it.  I was amazed that a healing modality existed that treated the body, mind and spirit.  The experience was transforming  for me and I decided to study Acupuncture.  I received my Masters in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland in 1990. I am now nationally certified through NCCAOM and I am Licensed in the State of Massachusetts. I maintain an Acupuncture practice as well an art studio in Rockport, Ma.
